I try to post with humor when possible as this also relieves the tension and stress.
I worked in Eldercare for 8 years and learned many things, but those things went 'out the window' when I began taking care of Mom. It is so-o-o different when you are caring for your own parent.
Some may think that what I post is very disrespectful of my mother. I love my mother very much but since acquiring age-related dementia, she is not the same person I grew up with. So, please, don't judge me for my postings. Read them for what they are-- my way of reaching out and trying not to drown.
